Accessibility statement
What we do so everyone can use the site, what has not been checked yet, and how to report a problem.
Our goal
Ovenir’s pages and results should be readable and usable with a keyboard, a screen reader or strong zoom. We aim for level AA of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
Where we stand
The site is not declared compliant: no full accessibility audit has been carried out.
A review was made on 17 October 2026, with our own automated checks and a keyboard walkthrough. It covered the home page, the six tools, the text page template and the result page after an audit, at desktop (1,280 pixels) and phone (390 pixels) widths, in French; the home page, one tool and one legal page also in English and Japanese.
Result: no blocking issue left. Each page has a single main heading, elements have an accessible name, focus is visible, touch targets are at least 44 pixels, contrast reaches 4.5:1 on plain backgrounds, no animation runs endlessly when the system asks for reduced motion, and the progress of an audit is announced to screen readers.
Limits of this review:
- contrast was only measured on plain backgrounds;
- no test was made with a real screen reader;
- our Accessibility tool has not been run on these pages yet; this will be done within a month of going live, and this statement will be updated.
