The questions we get asked

The essentials first, then each tool: what it looks at, what it doesn’t do, and why it concerns you.

The essentials

Is it really free?

Yes. All six tools, no account, no card. You get the score out of 100, every finding, and the block to share with whoever runs your site. The only optional exchange: your email address, to receive three real questions asked to ChatGPT about your business.

What do you do with my email address?

One thing only: send you what you asked for. A stop button in every message, no reselling, no marketing emails. If you don’t leave an address, we keep nothing about you.

Do you leave any trace on my site?

None. We read your pages like any visitor, installing nothing, changing nothing, no account to create. We look at what’s already public; we touch nothing.

What exactly do you measure?

Six things a site doesn’t say about itself: what AI reads of it, whether your emails arrive and who can write in your name, what a stranger learns from your server, what a screen reader hears, what the privacy regulator would see, and what keeps mobile visitors waiting.

Do I need to rebuild my site?

Almost never. What hurts you most gets fixed within what you already have. A forgotten instruction that locks AI out: we remove it. An address stuck in an image: we put it back as text. Count a few hours, not a redesign.

How long before it changes anything?

Two to six weeks. AI and search engines come back often, but they don’t relearn overnight. Run the test again a month after your fixes: it’s the only way to know if things moved.

Can I display my grade on my site?

Yes. Each tool has its badge: a small card with the grade and the score, to put on your site. Measure your domain first, then build the address on the pattern ovenir.com/badge/visibilite/your-domain.com: it returns the image to display, showing your latest result.

AI visibility

Does ChatGPT really read my site?

Yes. OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity each run a crawler that browses the web continuously, as Google has for twenty years. During the audit we knock on your door introducing ourselves as them, and note what we get: the door opens, or it stays shut.

My site ranks well on Google. Why not in ChatGPT?

Because they don’t read the same things. Google comes back dozens of times, opens everything, understands your photos, follows your links. An AI passes once and keeps only the text written in the page. Your opening hours in a pretty image, it never sees.

How is this different from a classic SEO audit?

An SEO audit prepares you for Google rankings: keywords, links, tags. We look at what an AI retains about you when someone asks it for advice, and whether it cites you or a competitor in your place. It’s another door to your customers, and the fastest-growing one.

Why only four pages?

Because an AI stops early too. Reading the home page and three chosen pages, the ones that usually hold your identity and your answers, gives a faithful picture without making you wait. If those pages are clean, the rest follows.

Email deliverability

My emails go out fine. Why measure them?

Leaving isn’t arriving. Without the right locks, your messages slide into spam, and above all anyone can write pretending to be your domain. We read the public state of those locks and give you the exact lines to set.

SPF, DKIM, DMARC: what are they, in one sentence?

The three signatures proving a message really comes from you: who may send, the content’s signature, and the instruction given to inboxes when a message fails. All publicly readable, nothing to install.

Security hygiene

You test my security? You won’t break anything?

We don’t test, we listen. The report reads what your server announces to anyone who asks politely: headers, displayed versions, missing policies. No intrusion, no password tried. And a good score isn’t a certificate: it says the facade is clean.

What can a stranger really learn about my server?

More than you’d think: the software serving you and sometimes its version, the missing protections, what a browser is allowed to do there. The report shows you what shows, and how to silence what doesn’t need saying.

Accessibility

Is accessibility mandatory for me?

For many activities, yes: the European obligation has applied since June 2025 to online commerce, banking, transport and media. And for everyone else, a site usable by keyboard and screen reader simply serves more people.

Is an automated check enough to be compliant?

No, and we say so: automation covers about a third of the criteria. It does catch the most frequent and most damaging faults: images without text, unlabeled fields, silent links, contrast. It’s the first third, and the most profitable one.

Compliance

What would the regulator see when visiting my site?

What our robot looks at: trackers set before any consent, the banner and what it actually blocks, the legal pages and what’s missing from them. We run the refusal test in a real browser: we refuse, then count what still gets sent.

I have no cookies and no ads. Am I safe?

Almost. Legal notices and data information are still due, and a tracker can slip in without you through an embedded video, a remote font or a share button. The test tells you if that’s the case on your site.

Site speed

Why yet another speed test?

Because a stopwatch depends on place, time and device. We grade structure: weight, images, cache, compression, blocking scripts. It’s stable, comparable, and every lost point names a precise fix. The times shown are reference points, with their method.

Does page weight still matter with fiber?

On mobile, yes: an average connection on the move pays for every megabyte. The number one source is almost always the same: images served far larger than the size they display at.
